In June, I’ve been invited by Gianluca Iarlori and 7chakras Festival team to realise a project for the latest edition of the festival they held in Tuscania (VT), Italy.
Since I had a vivid image of a playful and sunny bright place, I decided to portray the people who join this magical gathering. Additionally, I wanted to create some prints using a off-camera photography process, such as anthotype, which is a print process created using photosensitive material from plants under the influence of light (e.g., UV light, sunlight). On this occasion, I used the power of turmeric and its yellowish/orangish pigments as a symbol of the brightness of the environment and the souls they experience such celebration.
