Since I had a vivid image of a playful and sunny bright place, I decided to portray the people who join this magical gathering. Additionally, I wanted to create some prints using an off-camera photography process, such as anthotype, which is a print process created using photosensitive material from plants under the influence of light (e.g., UV light, sunlight). On this occasion, I used the power of turmeric and its yellowish/orangish pigments as a symbol of the brightness of the environment and the souls they experience such a celebration.

Kitsune Love Hotel・2018
This project traces a journey through Japan to explore wabi-sabi as a worldview that embraces imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness as forms of beauty and awareness. Through travel, aesthetic research, and self-portraits featuring a kitsune mask, the work reflects wabi-sabi as an ethical and perceptual practice—an attentive way of seeing that honours transience, subtlety, and care for the spaces we inhabit.
This body of images has been created in a love hotel in Osaka and features the artist wearing a kitsune mask. In Japanese culture, the kitsune is a supernatural fox associated with the Shinto deity Inari, known for intelligence, shape-shifting abilities, and an ambiguous nature that can be benevolent or deceptive, embodying transformation, illusion, and multiplicity.

Non avevamo null’altro da fare explores the summer atmosphere of living in Italy, away from the seaside but with the very slow rhythm of the countryside, where the only thing a young teen can do is to fall in love.

Back in those days, I felt like the city was trying to reject me and I was not getting any until I had a night walk in the industrial area of Red Hook. The negatives are from a little market I found in Williamsburg. Later on, I realized that soon after Trump would have been president for the first time.
